Defaults Home Loan
If you have paid or unpaid defaults, chances are these days the banks won't approve your home loan. It is generally outside their lending guidelines and even though it might have been something slight, they will pretty much decline your home loan or finance application.
There are a number of specialist lenders out there that will still approve your home loan application. They may require a slightly higher deposit or they may charge you a slightly higher interest rate but sometimes getting the property is more important than the interest rate.
These days with interest rates so low, any increase placed by the lender for a person who has defaults recorded against them is not so much of a big thing anymore. These lenders will generally reduce the interest rate back to normal over a period of time if you make your repayments each month.
